Workspaces | AI Dispatcher

Create and manage AI Dispatcher workspaces, set a name, slug and timezone, and understand what stays scoped to each workspace.

A workspace is the container for everything in AI Dispatcher: technicians, jobs, service areas, agents, connectors and settings. Most companies run one. You need more than one when you dispatch for separate operations that should never see each other's schedules — different regions, brands or business units.

Before you begin

  • Workspaces are managed in workspace settings, so you need access to Settings.
  • Decide the split before you create a second workspace. Data does not move between workspaces afterwards.

Manage workspaces

Open Settings > Workspaces. The table lists each workspace with:

ColumnWhat it shows
NameThe display name
SlugThe identifier used in URLs
StatusWhether the workspace is active
OrgsHow many organisations are attached
CreatedWhen it was created
ActionsManage that workspace

Create a workspace

  1. Select the option to create a workspace.
  2. Enter a Name — for example My Company.
  3. Confirm the slug.
  4. Select the timezone. This is the clock every schedule, working-hours rule and daily insight in that workspace is calculated against.
  5. Save.

Set the timezone correctly at creation. Every schedule and working-hours calculation in the workspace is built on it, so changing it later shifts how existing work reads.

What is scoped to a workspace

Technicians, jobs, service areas, business schedule, connectors, agents and settings all belong to one workspace. Some capabilities are also enabled per workspace rather than for the whole account, so a feature switched on for one workspace is not automatically available in another.
