Price Book & Bundles | FieldCamp

Create product and service packages in FieldCamp, set one package price, review calculated savings, and manage bundle availability for estimates and booking.

The FieldCamp price book contains reusable products, services, and packages. Create the individual entries first in Managing Products and Services, then combine them into packages for repeatable quoting.

Before you begin

Your role must be able to view Price Bundles and create packages. If the tab or Create Package action is missing, ask an administrator to review your Products permissions.

Choose a package type

The package builder offers three labels:

Package typeUse it to describe
Product BundleA package primarily made from products
Service PackageA package primarily made from services
Both (Products & Services)A mixed package

The package type is an organizational label. It does not restrict the item picker: each type can include products and services.

Create a simple package

  1. Open Products & Services.
  2. Select the Price Bundles tab.
  3. Select Packages.
  4. Click Create Package.
  5. Leave Pricing mode set to Simple bundle when the Smart Kits add-on is installed. Organizations without that add-on go directly to the simple-package fields.
  6. Select a Package Type.
  7. Enter a Package Name and Description.
  8. Optionally choose a category.
  9. Under Package Items, select at least one item and enter its Quantity and Price.
  10. Click Add Item for each additional component.
  11. Enter the Package Price.
  12. Optionally enable Enable online booking.
  13. Click Create Package.

The builder displays the Individual Items Total. When the package price is lower, it also displays Customer Savings as an amount and percentage. Simple packages use this one package price; the builder does not offer separate percentage-discount or dollar-discount strategies.

Create a calculated package with Smart Kits

When an administrator installs the Smart Kits add-on, Pricing mode also shows Calculated (Smart Kit). Use that mode when component quantities and prices need to be calculated from a driving quantity, area, or area and depth. Follow Smart Kits for the recipe, rounding, margin, and estimate-expansion workflow.

Add a package to an estimate

While creating an estimate, open the line-item Price Book and select the package. A simple package is added as a package entry. A calculated Smart Kit expands into its priced component rows after you provide the required quantity or measurements.

Manage packages

On Products & Services > Price Bundles > Packages, use the package row actions to:

  • Edit the package fields and components.
  • Clone a package into a new copy.
  • Archive an active package or Restore an archived package.
  • Delete a package after confirming the destructive action.
