Apps & Integrations | FieldCamp

Browse every FieldCamp integration and add-on — connect Gmail, Outlook, Google Calendar, Stripe, QuickBooks, Xero, Wave, Twilio, WhatsApp, custom SMTP, and MCP servers.

The Apps & Integrations page is your central hub for connecting external tools and enabling FieldCamp add-ons. You can find it at Settings → Apps & Integrations (under the Platform section in the settings sidebar). From this one screen you can plug in email, calendar, payments, accounting, calls, messaging, AI assistants, and custom connectors so every part of your field service business stays in sync.

Email Integrations

Keep all client communication in one place by connecting your email account to the FieldCamp Inbox. Connected mailboxes are used to send invoices, estimates, appointment confirmations, and any reply you send from a client card.

  • Gmail — Send and receive emails from your Gmail account. Available on all plans.
  • Microsoft Outlook — Same features as Gmail, for Outlook 365 and Outlook.com users. Available on all plans.
  • Custom SMTP — Bring your own mail server (Zoho, Fastmail, Rackspace, IONOS, or any provider that supports SMTP/IMAP). Useful if you run a domain mailbox that isn't on Google Workspace or Microsoft 365.

Set up Gmail or Outlook →

Custom SMTP uses standard SMTP for outbound and IMAP for inbound. You'll need the host, port, username, and an app password from your provider. Once connected, replies route into the same threaded view used by Gmail and Outlook accounts.

Calendar Integrations

See your FieldCamp jobs and personal events side-by-side with two-way sync. Scheduled visits automatically appear on your calendar, and changes sync back to FieldCamp within minutes.

  • Google Calendar — Two-way sync between FieldCamp and Google Calendar. Available on all plans.
  • Outlook Calendar — Two-way sync between FieldCamp and Outlook Calendar. Available on all plans.

Payment Integrations

Get paid faster by letting customers pay invoices and booking deposits online.

  • Stripe — Accept credit card payments on invoices and online booking forms. Available on all plans.

  • QuickBooks — Sync invoices, payments, and tax rates with QuickBooks Online. Pro plan only.
  • Xero — Sync invoices and payments with Xero. Pro plan only.
  • Wave — Sync invoices and payments with Wave. Pro plan only.

Pro plan required. QuickBooks, Xero, and Wave integrations are only available on the Pro plan. Your 7-day free trial includes Pro features, so you can test accounting sync before committing.

Calls & Messaging Integrations

Voice and SMS live inside FieldCamp through the Calls & Messaging add-on, powered by Twilio for North American numbers and WhatsApp Business for international messaging. Every call and text is attached to the right client card, so your team has the full history on the next visit.

  • Twilio (Calls & SMS) — Provision local numbers, receive inbound calls, run click-to-call from any client card, and send two-way SMS. US/Canada numbers require an A2P 10DLC registration before SMS will deliver.
  • WhatsApp Business — Send and receive WhatsApp messages from the Inbox. Ideal for international customers, after-hours photo confirmations, and quoting customers who prefer chat over email.

A2P 10DLC registration is mandatory for US SMS. US carriers reject messages from unregistered numbers. Complete brand and campaign registration before going live — review the Calls & Messaging setup guide for the required EIN, business address, and sample messages.

AI & Custom Connectors

FieldCamp ships with an open connector layer so you can extend the platform beyond the integrations listed above.

  • MCP Servers — Connect any Model Context Protocol server to the Command Center AI so the assistant can read or write data in your other systems (parts catalogs, ERPs, internal databases, scheduling tools, and more). Configure endpoints under Settings → Apps & Integrations → MCP Servers and grant scopes per server.
  • Webhooks & API — For one-off automations, use the public API with API keys, idempotency keys, and signed webhooks.

The MCP Servers add-on is the fastest way to plug FieldCamp into a niche or in-house tool without writing a full integration. Point the Command Center at any MCP-compliant endpoint, name the tool, and your team can call it in chat.

Connecting an App

Open Settings → Apps & Integrations

From the main sidebar, click your company name, then Settings, then Apps & Integrations under the Platform group.

Find the tile

Tiles are grouped by category — Email, Calendar, Payments, Accounting, Calls & Messaging, and Add-Ons.

Click Connect or Enable

Connect opens the provider's OAuth or credential flow. Enable turns on an internal add-on.

Authorize and test

Sign in with the destination account, approve scopes, then send a test (e.g., send a test email, sync a sample invoice, or place a test call).

Managing Connected Apps

Connected apps show a green Connected badge. Click on any connected app to view connection details, disconnect, or reconnect if authorization has expired.

Admin access required. Only users with the Admin role or the Account Owner can manage integrations and add-ons. See Roles & Permissions for details.

Troubleshooting

FAQs

Can I connect multiple integrations at the same time?

Yes. You can connect Gmail, Google Calendar, Stripe, an accounting tool (QuickBooks, Xero, or Wave), Twilio, WhatsApp, and any number of MCP servers concurrently. Each integration operates independently — disconnecting Stripe does not affect your Gmail connection.

What happens if an integration stops working?

If authorization expires (for example, after a password change), the integration shows an error status instead of the green Connected badge. Click on the integration and select Reconnect to re-authorize it. Your existing synced data is preserved.

Do add-ons cost extra on top of my FieldCamp plan?

Add-ons themselves are included with your plan. Usage-based services billed by the upstream provider — Stripe processing fees, Twilio voice minutes and SMS segments, and WhatsApp conversation charges — pass through at cost. Pro-only add-ons require the Pro plan.

Can I disable an add-on after enabling it?

Yes. Go to Settings → Apps & Integrations, find the add-on, and click Disable. Your existing data is preserved and will still be there if you re-enable it later.

Do I need both Twilio and WhatsApp, or can I pick one?

Pick what your customers use. Most North American operators start with Twilio for calls and SMS. International operators or trades like solar, telecom, and cross-border logistics often layer WhatsApp on top because customers respond there faster. You can enable both from the Calls & Messaging setup guide.

How long does A2P 10DLC registration take?

Brand verification is usually same-day. Campaign approval typically takes 1–3 business days. Plan ahead before any launch or seasonal campaign — unregistered numbers will silently drop messages.
