FieldCamp

Apps & Integrations | FieldCamp

Review the apps, integrations, and add-ons available in FieldCamp, understand their access gates, and open the correct connection or settings workflow.

The Apps & Integrations page is FieldCamp's catalogue for connecting external services and enabling supported add-ons. Open Settings → Apps & Integrations under Platform.

What you can see or manage depends on your FieldCamp permissions, plan, and whether an app requires separate activation or provider credentials.

Connect or enable an app

  1. Open Settings → Apps & Integrations.
  2. Choose a category or search for the app.
  3. Open the app card and review its features and requirements.
  4. Use the action shown for that app. Depending on the app, FieldCamp opens an authorization window, a credential form, a settings page, or an add-on activation flow.
  5. Complete any provider authorization or required configuration.
  6. Return to the card and confirm the connection state before using it in live work.

Some cards require administrator, add-on, or integration-management permission. Some also require a specific plan or an activation step. FieldCamp shows these requirements on the app detail surface.

Keep the two custom-email options separate

FieldCamp has two different custom-email surfaces:

  • Email (IMAP/SMTP) is an add-on for a two-way mailbox in the unified Inbox. It uses IMAP for inbound mail and SMTP for outbound mail.
  • Email (SMTP) is an outbound-only integration for invoice, estimate, and workflow email. It does not receive mail into the Inbox.

Choose Email (IMAP/SMTP) when your team needs to read and reply to incoming messages in FieldCamp. Choose Email (SMTP) when FieldCamp only needs to send operational or document email through your mail server.

Find MCP Servers

MCP Servers is not an Apps & Integrations add-on. It is a direct destination under Settings → Automation → MCP Servers for connecting supported AI clients to FieldCamp's MCP endpoint. Use Connect AI Assistants with MCP for the current setup model and limitations.

Manage an existing connection

Open the app card to view its current state. The available controls depend on the app:

  • OAuth integrations can offer reconnect or disconnect actions.
  • Credential-based integrations open their settings page for testing or updates.
  • Add-ons can require configuration after they are enabled.
  • AI Dispatcher requires both installation and activation before it can be used.

Disconnecting an app can stop future sync, sending, or add-on behavior. Review the app's settings and dependent workflows before disconnecting it.

Troubleshooting

The app is not available

Check the card's permission and plan requirement. If the card is visible but its action is unavailable, ask an account administrator to review your integration or add-on access.

A connected app stopped working

Open the app detail page and use its reconnect, test, or credential-update flow. Provider password changes and revoked OAuth access can require a new authorization.

Email is not appearing in the Inbox

Confirm that you connected Email (IMAP/SMTP), Gmail, or Microsoft Outlook. The separate Email (SMTP) integration sends outbound operational email only and does not import inbound messages.
