Understanding Your Dashboard

Updated today

Navigate Your AI Dispatcher Command Center

The AI Dispatcher dashboard puts complete operational visibility and control at your fingertips. Think of it as mission control for your field service business—every key metric, job, and technician status is accessible from a single, intuitive interface.

Your Main Navigation Hub

The left sidebar is your gateway to every core function. The Calendar view anchors your daily operations, giving you a visual timeline of all scheduled work. From here, you can drag assignments, spot conflicts, and adjust schedules in real time.

The collapsible sidebar design means you can expand it for full context or minimize it when you need maximum screen space for detailed work. Toggle it with a single click to match your workflow.

Key Dashboard Sections

Jobs Overview

Track every service order from creation to completion. The Jobs section shows all work requests with filterable views for unplanned, scheduled, in-progress, and completed jobs. Click any job to see customer details, service history, assigned technicians, and current status. Quick actions let you reassign, reschedule, or update job details without leaving the view.

Industry example: A plumbing company handling 40+ service calls per day uses the unplanned filter to instantly spot emergency requests that need immediate dispatch, while keeping scheduled maintenance work organized on the calendar.

Technicians Panel

Monitor your entire team's availability, location, and workload at a glance. See who's active, on break, or off duty. Color-coded status indicators make it easy to identify technicians approaching capacity or those ready for new assignments.

The technician detail view reveals skills, certifications, current assignments, and historical performance metrics. Use this when matching specialized work to qualified team members—like assigning HVAC repairs only to certified techs.

Calendar View

Your primary scheduling workspace. Switch between day, week, and timeline views depending on your planning horizon. Each technician gets their own row showing assigned jobs as time blocks. Empty slots indicate availability, while color coding helps you quickly distinguish job types, priorities, or service categories.

Drag-and-drop functionality means rescheduling is as simple as moving a block to a new time slot. The calendar automatically checks for conflicts and travel time feasibility as you make changes.

Industry example: An HVAC company uses the week view every Monday morning to balance preventive maintenance across technicians while keeping afternoon slots open for emergency service calls.

Capacity Planning

See your team's workload distribution and utilization rates. This view helps identify overloaded technicians who need support and underutilized team members who can absorb more work. Capacity metrics include assigned hours, available time, and efficiency ratings.

Use capacity planning when deciding whether to hire additional technicians, adjust service areas, or temporarily reassign specialists to meet demand spikes.

AI Dispatch Panel

The intelligence layer that powers automated scheduling recommendations. When enabled, AI Dispatch analyzes unassigned jobs, technician availability, skill requirements, travel distances, and historical patterns to suggest optimal assignments.

Review AI suggestions before approving them—each recommendation includes the reasoning behind it (shortest travel time, skill match, balanced workload). Accept individual suggestions or batch-approve multiple assignments at once.

Industry example: An electrical services company receives 15 new service requests overnight. AI Dispatch generates a complete routing plan in seconds, assigning jobs to minimize total drive time while respecting technician specializations and customer time windows.

Quick Actions and Filters

Every major view includes filtering and search tools. Filter jobs by status, priority, or service type. Filter technicians by skills, availability, or location. These filters persist across sessions, so your preferred view is ready when you return.

Action buttons appear contextually based on what you're viewing. Creating a new job while viewing a specific technician's schedule automatically pre-assigns that technician. Opening a job from an unplanned list prompts immediate assignment options.

Real-Time Updates

The dashboard updates automatically as your team works. When a technician marks a job complete in the mobile app, the status changes instantly on your screen. New service requests appear immediately, and calendar conflicts highlight themselves the moment they're detected.

This live data flow means dispatch decisions are always based on current reality, not stale information from an hour ago.

Mobile Responsiveness

Access the full dashboard from your tablet or phone. The interface adapts to smaller screens while preserving core functionality. You can dispatch from the road, review schedules from job sites, or check team status while meeting with clients.

Critical actions remain accessible: assign jobs, communicate with technicians, adjust schedules, and monitor real-time progress—all from your mobile device.
