Issue

Solution

No phone numbers available

Ensure at least one Twilio number is active and has the needed capabilities (Voice/SMS)

Microphone blocked

Click Enable Microphone when prompted → Check browser permissions in settings → Refresh the page

Twilio validation fails

Double-check Account SID and Auth Token → Remove any extra spaces → Verify credentials in Twilio Console → Check Twilio service status

SMS not sending

Confirm the number has SMS capability in Twilio → US numbers require A2P 10DLC registration (see below)

Audio/call quality issues

Use a reliable internet connection → Use a headset instead of computer speakers → Close unused browser tabs and applications

Important Notes & Compliance

Charges

  • Twilio charges monthly fees for phone numbers

  • Per-minute charges for calls

  • Per-message charges for text messages

  • Monitor your usage in the Twilio Console to track costs

SMS Compliance (US)

  • Business text messaging requires A2P 10DLC registration for US local numbers

  • Set this up in your Twilio account for full message deliverability

  • See Twilio's A2P 10DLC guide for registration steps

Recording Consent

  • If call recording is enabled, inform callers as required by law in your jurisdiction
