FieldCamp add-ons are optional features you can enable or disable at any time. They let you customize FieldCamp to match exactly what your business needs — without cluttering the interface with features you don't use. There are currently 11 add-ons available.
How to Enable Add-Ons
Go to Settings > Apps & Integrations.
Browse the add-ons section.
Click Enable on any add-on you want to activate.
When you enable an add-on, new menu items and settings may appear in your sidebar and Settings page. When you disable it, they are hidden again — no data is lost.
Pro plan required: Some add-ons require the Pro plan: AI Dispatcher, AI Call, Job Forms, and Job Cost Tracking. All other add-ons are available on both Core and Pro plans.
Available Add-Ons
Job Forms
Create digital checklists and forms that field technicians fill out during jobs. Use forms for safety inspections, equipment checklists, customer sign-offs, and more. When enabled, Forms appears under Settings > Forms & Reports. Requires Pro plan.
Online Booking
Let clients book appointments directly from your website. FieldCamp generates a booking page that shows your available time slots based on your business schedule. Bookings create requests that you can convert to jobs. When enabled, Online Booking settings appear under Settings > Customer Experience.
Service Area
Define the geographic zones where you provide services. Draw your coverage area on a map, and online booking will only show availability for addresses within your service area. When enabled, Service Area appears under Settings > Customer Experience.
Customer Portal
Give your clients a self-service portal where they can view their jobs, estimates, invoices, and make payments. When enabled, Customer Portal appears under Settings > Customer Experience.
Calls & Messaging
Make and receive phone calls and SMS messages directly within FieldCamp. Uses Twilio for telephony. Requires a Twilio account and phone number. When enabled, calling features appear on client profiles and in the sidebar.
AI Call
Let an AI agent answer your business phone when you can't. AI Call handles incoming calls, takes messages, gathers job details, and creates requests in FieldCamp automatically. Requires Pro plan.
CRM Settings
Advanced CRM configuration options for customizing how client data, communications, and relationships are managed within FieldCamp.
Multi-Day Jobs
Create jobs that span multiple days. Instead of creating separate jobs for each day of a long project, create one job with multiple visits across different days. When enabled, Job Templates appears under Settings > Jobs & Scheduling.
Job Cost Tracking (Job Logs)
Track the true cost of each job: labor hours, travel time, materials, and other expenses. See profit margins per job. When enabled, Job Cost Tracking appears under Settings > Forms & Reports and cost tracking tabs appear on job detail pages. Requires Pro plan.
Timesheets (Beta)
Track team hours with a built-in timesheet system. Team members can clock in and out, and you can review and approve timesheets. When enabled, Timesheet appears in the sidebar under the OPERATIONS section. Note: This add-on is currently in Beta. Features and behavior may change as it is refined.
AI Dispatcher
Let FieldCamp's AI automatically assign and schedule jobs. AI Dispatcher considers each team member's skills, location, availability, and current workload to make optimal scheduling decisions. When enabled, AI Dispatcher settings appear under Settings > Automation and the Jobs & Scheduling section appears in Settings. Requires Pro plan.
Setting up AI Dispatcher — two-step process: Unlike other add-ons, AI Dispatcher requires two steps to fully activate:
Connect: Go to Settings > Apps & Integrations and click Connect on AI Dispatcher. This enables the add-on and creates the initial connection.
Activate via OTP: After connecting, you will receive a one-time password (OTP) to verify and activate the dispatcher. Enter the OTP to complete activation. Until this step is done, AI Dispatcher is connected but not yet active.
Once both steps are complete, AI Dispatcher will begin automatically assigning jobs based on your configured rules.
Disabling Add-Ons
To disable an add-on, go back to Settings > Apps & Integrations and click Disable on the add-on. The feature will be hidden from your interface, but your data is preserved. If you re-enable it later, everything is still there.
