Understanding Job Logs in FieldCamp

Job Logs serve as the financial backbone of FieldCamp's job management system, providing granular tracking of every dollar spent and earned across your field service operations.

This comprehensive logging system captures travel expenses, labor costs, material expenses, and revenue data, delivering real-time profitability insights that enable data-driven decision-making and operational optimization.

The dual-level architecture tracks finances at both the overall job level (aggregate data for entire projects) and individual visit level (specific instance data for recurring services), ensuring complete financial visibility whether managing one-time repairs or multi-year maintenance contracts.

Job Logs → track → complete financial lifecycle Dual-level tracking → enables → granular profitability analysis
